The place always smells like urine when you walk in the door. It doesn't seem to get much better once your inside. Mediocre food, weak drinks, and trashy clientele make this place a real gem.

I've been here twice, once during the cold months and once during the summer. The band was excellent both times. However, the band is confined inside during the cold which makes it so that you have to yell at the person next to you. They have built a beautiful wood patio outside with a stage area, 4ft surrounding sides to keep the ducks out that I saw someone mention, and roof. $4.75 for my mixed drinks is a great price for me. Just a nice place to be for 25 and up crowd.

Riverfront dining, cold beer, bands. Hey, it's not a coat and tie place but you're sure welcome in shorts and flip flops! They may have one of the best Corned Beef Rueben sandwiches in the area! If you are looking for a "Joint" on the river that's comfortable go here!

Great live entertainment and karaoke weekly! Prime Rib on Saturday nights. Great selection of beers. Appetizer platter is a good option for a group of friends.

We should have left when we walked in. We had to stick out heads into the kitchen to get anyone to come out and wait on us.. We said we would have the buffet. Nothing was labeled. After getting our salad the waitress said they only put out one pizza at a time as they have NO customers. Really...... Awful food. Cold pizza, yucky tasting salad. Even after eating a bite or two I still have no idea what I just ate. We used to come here at least once every week. NEVER again. This is on the Rock River but now there is a covered patio so you can no longer see the river....

Ok, I'm updating my rating to 4 stars. We went back again tonight ($2 bloody marys again, couldn't resist), and it was a better experience (not that it was a *bad* experience before). The bathroom, while I didn't visit it personally, wasn't smellable from outside of its own confines, so that's good. Plus, the service was a lot better, so another bonus. When we ate there the first time, our food was good, but I was wondering if maybe we just got lucky with what we ordered. But it was good again this time as well, so I feel good about giving them a solid review. The ducks are still roaming the patio though, and I don't think they'll be going away anytime soon, considering they REMOVED the (partial) fence that (kind of) kept the ducks out of the patio area. Now they're even more free to come and go as they please. I guess I'm fine with them, though. It's kind of entertaining to watch them waddle around and battle over crumbs while enjoying a meal (liquid or otherwise).

My husband and I went here for lunch. We walked in and sat down with a lot of what seemed to be "regulars". We sat for 15 mins, the waitress and bartender both looked at us but neither one waited on us. They were busy chatting and catering to the "regulars". We finally got up and walked out, nobody said a word to us!! Just for that, we will go spend our money elsewhere!!

This local bar is divey, but the food is quite good. Located on the river. We took out basketball team for lunch. Really generous sandwiches and burgers. The BLAT must have had half a pound of bacon on it. I couldn't eat it all! I can tell this place is hopping at night! I'd score higher but the place is pretty run down.
